Abbey Meads Junior Netball Club – January 2013
Welcome back or welcome to new members.
Abbey Meads now has a thriving juniors section and we are pleased to welcome all juniors from under 11s to U16s. At our new training venue, Next Generation, we have two courts which means that we can run both U11 training and training for the older juniors at the same time. The junior club will run for 9 weeks on the following dates: January 15th, 22nd and 29th, February 5th, 19th and 26th and March 5th, 12th and 19th. Please spread the word amongst your friends and pass on the club email if they are interested in joining us.
Sessions will be held in the dome at Next Generation, 5 Larch Close, Kembrey Park, Swindon, SN2 8LY. All equipment will be provided but we ask that the children wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring a drink along. No jewellery or watches can be worn at training, for safety reasons, so please ensure it is removed before training begins. If we need to cancel a session for any reason we will need to contact you so please ensure you fill in the information sheet with up to date contact details and return it before the sessions start. If you have already filled in the contact details form please inform me if any of your details have changed or check the sheet at the first session.
Dates and times
All sessions will run on Tuesday nights from 6pm – 7pm. There will be 9 sessions starting on 15th January and running through to the 19th March. There will not be a session on the 12th February due to half term.
The cost of the nine week course is £20. This needs to be paid in full either before the first session by bank transfer or at the first session by cheque. Please make cheques payable to Abbey Meads Netball Club and write your child’s name on the back of the cheque. If you would like to do a bank transfer please put the child’s name in the reference. The details are: sort code: 40-17-25 and account number: 21451855.
Junior netball league
The U11 and U12 matches will continue this term. We have also arranged some friendly matches which will give all children the chance to play a competitive game.
